Found Your Livestreams on LiveStreamRecorder? Here’s How to Get Them Removed
If you’ve discovered that your livestreams have been recorded and made available on LiveStreamRecorder.com without your knowledge or permission, you may be able to request their removal through the site’s DMCA process.
LiveStreamRecorder’s own Terms state that users should not record content they do not own or have explicit authorization to record.
Don’t panic if you find yourself on the site. Save the URLs and screenshots first, then submit the takedown request. If the material disappears later, you’ll still have evidence of what was originally available.
Before You Start
Save evidence before submitting anything.
- Your creator/profile page
- Individual recording URLs
- Any clips or mirrors
- The date you discovered the content
Keeping this evidence means you still have a record of what was online even if the page is later removed.
Step 1: Find the URLs
Open the LiveStreamRecorder profile or recording containing your content and copy the full URL.
Example:
https://www.livestreamrecorder.com/younow/yourusername
If multiple recordings are listed, save each individual recording URL too.
Step 2: Submit a DMCA Request
LiveStreamRecorder provides a dedicated DMCA takedown form.
Open the LiveStreamRecorder DMCA Form
The form may ask you for:
- Your name
- Your contact email
- The copyrighted work
- The infringing URL or URLs
- Whether you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative
- A good-faith declaration
- An electronic signature
Only submit a copyright complaint if you genuinely own the content or have permission to act for the copyright owner.
Copy-and-Paste DMCA Template
Copy the template below and replace the sections in square brackets with your own information.
To LiveStreamRecorder.com,
I am writing to request the removal of livestream recordings that contain copyrighted content owned by me / the copyright owner I am authorized to represent.
Copyright owner:
[FULL NAME]
Creator/streaming name:
[USERNAME]
Original platform:
[YOUNOW / TWITCH / TIKTOK / ETC.]
The copyrighted works concerned are original livestream broadcasts created and presented by [NAME] under the creator identity [USERNAME].
The infringing material is located at:
[INSERT LIVESTREAMRECORDER URL]
[INSERT ADDITIONAL URLs, ONE PER LINE]
The copyright owner did not authorize LiveStreamRecorder.com, its users, or any other third party to record, reproduce, archive, redistribute, download, publicly display, or otherwise retain copies of these broadcasts.
The copyright owner had no prior knowledge that these recordings were being retained or made available through the service and only became aware of them after discovering the material / being alerted to its existence.
I therefore request that LiveStreamRecorder.com immediately remove or disable access to the identified recordings and any additional copies of the copyrighted broadcasts available through the service.
I also request that, where technically possible, the creator account [USERNAME] be prevented from being submitted for unauthorized recording again.
I have a good-faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
I state that the information contained in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Please confirm once the identified material has been removed or disabled.
Sincerely,
[FULL NAME]
[COPYRIGHT OWNER / AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE]

Acting on Behalf of Someone Else
If you are helping a partner, friend, client, or another creator, get their authorization in writing first.
You can use something like this:
I, [COPYRIGHT OWNER'S FULL NAME], authorize [REPRESENTATIVE'S FULL NAME] to act as my authorized representative in relation to copyright matters concerning my livestream content published under the creator name [USERNAME].
This authorization includes permission to submit DMCA takedown notices, copyright infringement complaints and cease-and-desist requests, and to correspond with websites, hosting providers, platforms and other relevant service providers on my behalf.
I confirm that [REPRESENTATIVE'S NAME] has my permission to act on my behalf in seeking the removal or disabling of access to unauthorized copies of my livestream content.
Signed:
[COPYRIGHT OWNER]
Date:
[DATE]
Keep that authorization somewhere safe in case the website asks you to prove that you have permission to act for the copyright owner.
What Happens After You Submit?
If the request is accepted, the recordings may be removed and the creator page may display a notice saying the content was removed following a verified DMCA takedown request.
Keep a screenshot of that confirmation.
It is also worth saving:
- Your original submission
- Any confirmation email
- Any replies from LiveStreamRecorder
- The URLs you reported
- The removal confirmation

If needed, you can also contact:

For most creators, I would use the DMCA form first and email them only if you need to follow up.
